Spiced Tuna Fish Cakes

Makes 5 - 6 servings

Cooking Time 10 - 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 300 g SAN MARINO TUNA FLAKES IN BRINE
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1/2 cup instant oats
  • 1/2 cup onions, minced As needed coriander, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper
  • As needed oil
  • As needed mayonnaise
  • For garnish any diced vegetables (optional)
  • For garnish greens
     

Procedure

  1.  Mix first 8 ingredients including CDO SAN MARINO TUNA FLAKES IN BRINE in a bowl until you can form patties. Season.
  2. Form mixture into patties sized according to your liking.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet on medium-high. Fry patties for 2-3 minutes each side. Drain excess oil before serving.
  4. To Serve: Spread mayonnaise on plate, add diced vegetables on the side, and top with greens.
