Tuna Pot Pie

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 300 g SAN MARINO TUNA FLAKES IN BRINE
  • 6 pcs potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tsp unsalted butter
  • 1 pc onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 pc carrot, diced
  • 2 pcs celery stalks, minced
  • 2 tsp AP flour
  • 300 ml cooking cream
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 4 tsp cheese, grated
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper

Procedure

  1. Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk and butter. Adjust seasoning and set aside.
  2. In a pan, sauté onions, carrots, and celery in melted butter. Add SAN MARINO TUNA FLAKES IN BRINE and flour. Stir continuously for a minute or two.
  3. Stir in cream and cook until it thickens. Add peas and parsley. Adjust seasoning.
  4. Preheat oven. Transfer tuna mixture in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes and cheese. Bake for 2 minutes or until top is browned.
