Kofta Balls with Cheese

Makes 8 - 10 servings

Cooking Time 45 - 60 minutes


  • 452 g CDO HIGHLANDS BEEF PATTIES, finely chopped
  • 1 pack Oatmeal
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 pc White onions, diced
  • 1 pc Egg
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper
  • 1 can tomato, diced
  • 20 g Thyme
  • 20 g Rosemary
  • 20 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Oil


  1. In a bowl, mix oatmeal, garlic, white onions, CDO HIGHLANDS BEEF PATTIES, and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, sauté onions, garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Add diced tomatoes, mix until it boils. Then add butter and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Take the meat out of the chiller. Form into balls with cubed CDO MOZZARELLA CHEESE.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, and half-cook kofta balls. Transfer into a baking pan with tomato sauce.
  5. Bake for 30-45 minutes at 375°F or until cheese oozes out. Serve hot.
