Fried Keema Spring Rolls

Makes 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pack CDO READY-TO-USE GROUND MEAT 500 g
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp white onions, chopped
  • 3 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cumin, toasted
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 10 pcs lumpia wrapper
  • 1 cup canola oil

Procedure

  1. Sauté garlic and onions lightly in vegetable oil.
  2. Add CDO READY-TO-USE GROUND MEAT and continue sautéing until lightly toasted. 
  3. Add green peas, soy sauce, lime juice, cumin, salt and black pepper.  
  4. After 5 minutes, add cilantro and turn off heat.
  5. Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of the mixture in the middle of a lumpia wrapper. Fold both ends and roll.  Fry spring rolls until golden brown.  
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with sour cream on the side.
